Welcome To Japan!

The RENT cast has safely made it to Tokyo, Japan! We are so excited to be here. We've been here for 2 days now and already have done so much sightseeing, shopping and eating! Over the next couple of days I'll be putting my pictures and videos together and posting them up on here...but i wanted to let you all know that we're here and have so much to share with you. Have any great suggestions on where we should eat or do while were here in Tokyo?

    Asakusa,Tukiji; Traditional Japan
    Roppongi, Akihabara; Modern Japan
If you have time, try Kamakura
I reccomend you 'Hato bus tour'(popular for foreign tourists) and 'Yakatabune'(night cruise)

  8. Andy...some ideas for places to visit in Tokyo for food. Here are some: Robotayaki-serves grilled foods. For REALLY fresh fish and seafood try Ikezukuri..fish are in tanks and they filet them and make sashimi right in front of you. Kuru-Kuru zush...i (or Kaitenzushi) for a fun sushi experience (on conveyor belts...quite fun!). Cold noodles are "in season" for the summer and be sure to try ice cream with azuki beans on it. Some good chain restuarants...Ozeki and Murasaki. For more ideas hit up a bookstore like Maurzen and pick up an English magazine called Tokyo Time Out...it will have restaurant reviews and things. HAVE FUN!!Read More
