LOVE the cake, even if it got a bit smushed...a marshmallow cowbell is always cool. Also, now I finally know how to pronounce Schenectady...there's a movie with that name in the title and I've been saying it allllll wrong. Looking forward to the next update :D

I have officially renamed this cake "It tastes the same. If you close your eyes" Thank you all for your wonderful compliments about the cake! It truly was a labor of love combining two things that I love very much--cakes and RENT. Andy and Telly, you are wonderful--You made what was a cake wreck story into something that made me smile ear to ear-- I love you!! It was awesome to meet the cast backstage and get a tour from Telly. Everyone was so nice!! The most special thing for me was sharing the experience with my daughter, Danielle. She is officially a RENThead now and I couldn't be prouder! Thank you again Andy, for offering to include me in your most wonderful blog! XXOO ~~Tammy
It is wonderful to see my Bestest Bud get some well deserved praise! Shine on! I am so happy for you and I know your cake rocked, cuz I get one every year for my little girl-who has never been disappointed!
I am of Cuban descent. I live in the West Village of NYC. I have traveled and lived all over the world performing in the Broadway musical RENT. I had two dreams I wanted to fulfill in my life since i was a kid: to be on Broadway, and to open my own Cuban cafe......1 down...1 to go.
This is a blog about my culinary journey through life as an artist and food lover....
Thank you for taking the time and visiting my blog......... Buen Provecho!
Thanks for posting!!! The cake looks AMAZING!!!! Seeing that I live in Rochester, I should get me a 3D cake now.... lol.
