After rehearsal, a small group of us were hungry and decided to go to Chick Fill-A but it was closed. We then headed out of the hotel to the nearest Bojangles which was also closed. I then remembered passing by a Soul Food place a block away called Mert's and we headed there.

Crispy Fried Chicken, Rice and Red Bean. The chicken was so moist, crispy and well seasoned. And the macaroni and cheese was rich and creamy with a baked, brown crust.

So the Durham dining experience turned out to be not so great! A bunch of us ended up with the stomach virus known in some circles as "The Crud." I pretty much stuck to the B.R.A.T diet (Bananas, Rice, Applesauce and Toast) and some Rotisserie Chicken from my Favorite Supermarket Harris Teeter.

A couple of us in the cast (Yuka and I) are addicted to Harris Teeter Cinnamon Graham Sticks....but unfortunately they only sell them at Harris Teeter's! What are we to do!??

One of my favorite ways to spend the morning is having a bowl of home made fruit salad (bananas, apples, raspberries, blueberries, blackberries and strawberries) while hanging out with Kyle Post via Skype!
